Whether it's creating social media posts or planning a large-scale event, we bring a personalized approach to every project we take on.
MEET OUR TEAM
Our team is led by Bergen Giordani. Bergen has 30 years of marketing, public relations, and event planning experience. Bergen Graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree from Youngstown State University. Prior to her venture in Entrepreneurship, her resume includes marketing and special event director positions at the Youngstown Warren Regional Chamber, Steelite International, and Youngstown State University. Her first encounter with marketing was in the mid 1990's when she worked as the Marketing Director at the Shenango Valley Mall. Bergen has raised over $5 million in grant money while at Youngstown State (The Rich Center for Autism). She has a passion for executing special events as well as helping small businesses succeed and grow. Bergen lives in East Palestine with her two dogs, Remington and Bren, and their dad, Mark, a retired Youngstown City police officer. In her spare time she enjoys reading (with a goal of reading 52 books per year) and spending time with her grandson, Emersen.
Ella Perrone, our Marketing Director, is a proud graduate of Youngstown State University where she earned both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Marketing. With an eye for strategy and a passion for creativity, Ella leads the creation and execution of marketing and public relations plans for all clients, internal and external. From developing interactive content to planning impactful annual campaigns, she approaches every project with precision, purpose, and a results-driven mindset. Ella manages our marketing campaigns and interns, fostering growth and collaboration within the team. Outside of work, Ella lives in Niles, Ohio with her family. She enjoys reading, being outside, and spending time with friends and family.
Our Operations Manager, Courtney Watson, is an organizational pro. Courtney oversees all office operations, including billing and inside sales, ensuring efficiency and accuracy at every step. She also serves as a liaison between our retail stores and the corporate team, fostering communication and collaboration across all brands. Beyond her operational expertise, Courtney plays an active role in event production and is a key contributor to our social media presence - helping brainstorm creative ideas, develop engaging posts, and bring fresh perspectives to our online content. In her spare time, she volunteers on mission trips with her church and loves finding new coffee shops. She lives in Howland, Ohio with her family.
Morgen Chretien acts as a Marketing Consultant as she is currently overseeing all expansion operations at Gorant Chocolates. Morgen has a Master’s Degree in Digital Marketing from Youngstown State University. She has extensive experience in website design and social media management and takes the lead on projects involving these two areas. After graduating from Youngstown State with a Bachelor’s Degree in Laboratory Science, Morgen briefly worked in the medical field before ultimately returning to the family business, earning her MBA while working full time. Morgen lives in Boardman with her husband, Nick, who works in economic development for the port authority, and their son Emersen.
Remington "Remy" Giordani Crissman Official Greeter & Receptionist
If you've ever walked through our doors and been met with a wagging tail and a smile, chances are you've already met Remy. As our beloved Official Greeter & Receptionist, Remington Giordani Crissman takes his job very seriously, making every guest feel welcome the moment they arrive. Remy has been part of the family since day one. In fact, his first "shift" was spent at One Hot Cookie in Boardman, where he quickly became the heart of the operation. His love for people and cookies eventually inspired the creation of Cookie Dog Cookies, a customer favorite now available at Snacky Paws and One Hot Cookie.
When he is not on duty, Remy is a true adventurer. He loves to swim and has dipped his paws in the Atlantic Ocean more than once. He is also a road-trip enthusiast, and his motto is life is about the journey, not the destination. His favorite moments are spent either cruising in the car with his mom or relaxing on the porch with his dad.
Recently, Remy underwent successful knee replacement surgery, and he is thrilled to be back greeting visitors, soaking up attention, and spreading joy. Whether in the office, in the car, or by the ocean, Remy reminds us every day that work and life are best enjoyed with a little tail wag and a lot of heart.
Bren "Beaz" Giordani Crissman
Bren, affectionately known as Beaz or Beazy, is the undeniable queen of the household and the office. While her brother Remy loves attention and adventure, Bren prefers to keep her circle small and her side eyes sharp. Like her brother, she was named after a firearm, and true to her name she is a pistol, fierce, independent, and unapologetically herself.
Not overly friendly with strangers, Bren saves her loyalrt for her family and the office team. She takes her role as protector seriously, keeping everyone safe from mail carriers, delivery drivers, and the occasional wild animal that dares cross her path.
Beaz is not a working dog by any stretch. She much prefers to spend her days posing regally for photos or lounging in her bed. Her favorite pastimes are simple but deeply satisfying: eating and sleeping.
She shares her world with two sister dogs, Mabel and Lucy. Together, the trio has been the inspiration behind the Mahoning Valley Pug Fest, a community event they helped bring to life. True to her character, Bren despises the festival and attends each year with a mix of reluctance and disdain.
